Mecklenburg - Vorpommern: Königsstuhl in Jasmund National Park

The Obverse depicts a detail of the Königsstuhl (German for 'king's chair'), the most famous and highest cliff on the German island of Rügen, which is part of a group of cliffs included in the Jasmund National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site); also visible in the design are: a seagull in flight at the top and a person at the bottom right. At the top left, between the seagull and the cliff, is the two-line inscription representing the German Länd to which the coin refers, i.e. "MECKLENBURG - VORPOMMERN", with the minting year underneath and, immediately below it, the sign "D" identifying Germany. Top right, near the inner edge, is the mintmark, which may relate to one of the following five mints:
- A - Berlin
- D - Munich
- F - Stuttgart
- G - Karlsruhe
- J - Hamburg
Bottom left, above the sea, the author's initials can be seen "MO". On the outer part are the 12 five-pointed stars, symbol of the European Union. The coin's Reverse is the new common side of Euro coins, with the face value "2" on the left and the European continent on the right, overlapped by the inscription "EURO". Six vertical lines with a star at each end are placed behind the Europe's image.
Edge: finely milled, with the inscription 'EINIGKEIT UND RECHT UND FREIHEIT' (concord, justice and freedom) followed by the emblem of the federal eagle, in incuse.

175th anniversary of the Paulskirche Constitution

On the Obverse, in the foreground at the bottom, is a representation of St. Paul's Church with the entrance of the members of the National Constituent Assembly; the image is superimposed on the constitutional document and a quill pen. Immediately behind the image are three female figures (allegories of Unity, Justice, and Freedom), while the German tricolor flag is depicted in the background. The inscription “PAULSKIRCHENVERFASSUNG 1849” (“St. Paul's Church Constitution 1849”) is engraved almost entirely along the inner edge of the coin . At the bottom of the coin are: on the left, the sign “D” identifying Germany; in the center, the minting year with the initials of the author “BB” immediately above; and on the right, slightly higher up, the mintmark, which may relate to one of the following five mints:
- A - Berlin
- D - Munich
- F - Stuttgart
- G - Karlsruhe
- J - Hamburg
On the outer part are the 12 five-pointed stars, symbol of the European Union.
