2 Euro Commemorative coins Croatia 2025
1,100th Anniversary of the Croatian Kingdom and the coronation of King Tomislav

The Obverse features the equestrian statue of King Tomislav I in the foreground, while the Croatian chessboard (part of the coat of arms of the Republic and symbol of Croatia) is depicted in the background. Along almost the entire inner edge of the coin, starting from the bottom left, is the following circular inscription: “KRALJ TOMISLAV 925. REPUBLIKA HRVATSKA 2025.”: “KING TOMISLAV,” the year of his coronation, “REPUBLIC OF CROATIA,” and the minting year. On the outside part are placed 12 five-pointed stars, representing the European Union. The coin's Reverse is the new common side of Euro coins, with the face value "2" on the left and the European continent on the right, overlapped by the inscription "EURO". Six vertical lines with a star at each end are placed behind the Europe's image.
Edge: finely milled, with the inscription in italics "O LIJEPA O DRAGA O SLATKA SLOBODO" (O beautiful, O dear, O sweet freedom).
