The Obverse, in the center of the coin, depicts a mountain biker during a race, with details of the surrounding environment on either side: rocky terrain on the left and wooded terrain on the right. At the top of the coin is the circular inscription “CAMPIONATS DEL MÓN UCI DE BTT” (UCI Mountain Bike World Championships). On either side of the cyclist are the inscription “ANDORRA” on the left and the minting year on the right, both mixed with splashes of mud and gravel, typical of races in this sport. On the outside part are placed 12 five-pointed stars, representing the European Union. The coin's Reverse is the new common side of Euro coins, with the face value '2' on the left and the European continent on the right, overlapped by the inscription 'EURO'.
